Yesterday the 4th

Did you see the awesome fireworks? Well they didn't just do that for fun it was the 4th America's birthday here's the story. It's the late 1700s Thomas Jefferson finished writing The Declaration of Independence, the paper that separated our fair country from the British. Now George Washington was asking  people to sign, if enough people did America would be it's own country. Now enough people signed and King George would see and approve,(I think.)it was the U.S.A.'s first birthday.

  1. Hi there, Happy Kids! Thanks for all the good info, Angel. Old King George wasn't too pleased, I hear. It took the Revolutionary War and more than a few lost lives to change his mind. But we sure do know how to celebrate! Bang!!! I love the Fourth of July, don't you?

Heard any good jokes lately? How about this one: I planted some bird seed. A bird came up. Now I know know what to feed it.

    1. I just saw a funny question, "Do you think they have a fourth of July in England?" I bet they don't...
Here's a funny riddle, There is a butcher clerk who is 5'10''. What does he weigh?
